Privacy Policy: GridVerse
Last updated: 28 September 2026
GridVerse is a collection of grid games for Android and the web, published by Himalayan Code Works. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version: your games, scores and settings never leave your device. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics. The Android app sends one thing: an anonymous crash report if the app crashes, so we can find and fix the bug.
What stays on your device
Everything you do in GridVerse (games in progress, high scores, stats, streaks, badges and settings) is stored in the app's private storage on your device (in your browser's storage on the web). We cannot see it, and it is not backed up to us. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the site's data in your browser, deletes it.
Crash reports (Android app only)
The Android app uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, to tell us when it crashes. A crash report contains:
- the technical details of the crash: which part of the code failed, and the stack trace
- basic device information: device model, Android version, app version, free memory and disk space, orientation, and whether the app was in the foreground
- a random installation identifier created by Crashlytics, which lets us count how many devices a crash affects. It is not linked to your name, email, advertising ID or any account
Crash reports do not contain your scores, games, settings or anything you typed.
Reports are sent over an encrypted connection to Google, which processes them on our behalf under the Firebase data processing terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Crashlytics keeps crash data for 90 days, then deletes it. We use it only to fix bugs. We do not sell it, share it with anyone else, or use it for advertising.
The web version sends no crash reports.
What we do not do
- No sign-in, account or profile
- No advertising and no advertising ID
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone or files
- No in-app purchases
Permissions
The Android app requests only INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, both used solely to send crash reports. It asks for no runtime permissions.
Links
The app contains one outbound link: the developer's website, under Settings → About. Tapping it opens your browser, and that site's own policy applies.
Children
GridVerse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Crash reports contain no personal information.
Your choices and deletion
Crash reports are not linked to you, so we cannot pick your reports out from anyone else's. Crashlytics deletes every report automatically after 90 days. To stop any report being sent, uninstall the app, or play the web version, which sends nothing. Your games and scores are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear the site's data. Changes to this policy
If GridVerse gains a feature that changes any of the above, such as sync, analytics or accounts, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
